Sour-Varianten

Der zeitgenössische Sour-Cocktail ist ein kurzer, starker, bowleartiger Drink, der zu einem Teil aus Alkohol, einem Teil aus Sour und einen halben Teil an süßen Zutaten besteht.

Typischerweise zubereitet mit einem starken Likör, schmecken Sours stark nach diesem Basislikör; sie sind kurze, starke, bowleartige Drinks, die 2 Teile Alkohol, 1 Teil Sour (Zitronen- oder Limettensaft) und einen halben Teil Süßes (Sirup, Likör, Zucker) enthalten. Cocktailbitter und Eiweiß sind optional, tragen aber zum Charme dieser Cocktails bei.

Sours sind geschüttelte Drinks und können pur oder auf Eis serviert werden.
