Drinks & Cocktails with Passion Fruit Purée
Passion fruit puree is a puree made from fresh passion fruit. If you can’t find it in the store, you can make it yourself at home. Just add the pulp of a few passion fruits to a blender along with 1 teaspoon of water per fruit used, and some sugar to taste. Blend and strain through a fine mesh sieve, then discard all the crunchy bits.
Passion fruit puree makes a great addition to any exotic juice-based cocktail, but our favorite use for this ingredient has got to be the famous Pornstar Martini.
