Ingredients
The Absolut Haring Fizz is a new vodka cocktail created for the launch of Absolut Haring – a collaboration between Absolut and iconic artist Keith Haring.
A true fusion of art and flavor, the Absolut Haring Fizz mixes with Sesame-Washed Vodka, Citrus Sherbet, and Apple-Ginger Foam to create something iconic and truly unexpected.
Although it requires a bit of prep, including allowing some of the ingredients to refrigerate overnight, like great art, some creations are simply worth the wait!
Below, we’ve separated each of the ingredients into steps.
How To Make THE absolut haring fizz

How to Make Sesame Washed Vodka
- 700 ml Absolut Vodka
- 20 ml Sesame Oil

Day One:
- Pour 700 ml Absolut Vodka into a Measuring Jug.

2. Use a Jigger to measure and pour in 20 ml Sesame Oil.

3. Transfer the mixture into a Swing-Top Glass Bottle using a Funnel.

4. Chill the bottle in the freezer overnight.

Day two:
- Take your bottle of Absolut Vodka out of the freezer.

2. Place a Coffee Filter over the larger tin of a Boston Shaker, then pour the Vodka through the filter. Note: it may take up to an hour to strain.
How to Make Orange & Lemon Sherbet
- 75 g Orange Peel
- 75 g Lemon Peel
- 150 g White Sugar
- 300 ml Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice
- 200 ml Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
- 250 ml Simple Syrup

Day One:
- Use a Peeler to peel the Orange Zest and Lemon Zest, then place them in an Airtight Container.

2. Add White Sugar to the Container, mixing well to ensure the peels are fully coated.

3. Seal the Airtight Container with its lid and let it sit at room temperature overnight.

Day two:
- Strain the syrup from the zest using a Sieve to create your Oleo Saccharum.

2. Use a Citrus Press to juice your Lemons and Oranges into a Measuring Jug.

3. Combine the Oleo Saccharum with the Orange Juice, Lemon Juice, and Simple Syrup to make your sherbet.
How to Make Apple & Ginger Foam
- 200 ml Apple Juice
- 40 ml Ginger Syrup
- 20 ml Lemon Juice
- 4 Egg Whites (approx 120 ml)

Prepare the foam the same day you’re mixing the drink.
- Measure and pour Apple Juice, Ginger Syrup, and Lemon Juice into a Measuring Cup.

2. Measure and add 4 Egg Whites (approx 120 ml) to the Cup.

3. Pour the mixture carefully into a Nitro Siphon Canister, charge with two N₂O cartridges, and refrigerate for a couple of hours.
How to mix

Use a Jigger to measure and pour 50 ml of Sesame Washed Absolut Vodka into the smaller tin of your Boston Shaker.

Measure and pour 50 ml of Citrus Sherbet into the Shaker.

Add Ice Cubes and shake vigorously until chilled.

Double strain the cocktail using a Hawthorne Strainer and a Fine Mesh Strainer into a Lowball Glass filled with Ice Cubes.

Add a splash of Soda Water.

Dispense the Apple & Ginger Foam from the Nitro Siphon on top of your drink.

Garnish by sprinkling Black Sesame Seeds on one side of the foam to create a half-moon shape.

With its unique inclusion of Sesame-Washed Vodka, the drink was inspired by Keith Haring’s love for Asian cuisine.
The Absolut Haring Fizz is the main signature drink and is an elevated serve, with the Absolut Haring Collins being a shaken serve, and the Absolut Haring Screw a simple serve.

- Prep in advance
The Absolut Haring Fizz is a cocktail that takes quite a bit of preparation, so make sure to plan ahead. If you’re aiming to serve it on Saturday, get all your prep done the night before. - Juice your fruits
While it’s tempting to grab store-bought Orange, Apple, and Lemon Juice, you should juice your own fruits, as it will make for a much better drink. Trust us!
Use a regular Blender for the Apples, and a Citrus Elbow for the Lemons and Oranges.

- Serve the Absolut Haring Fizz in a Lowball Glass filled with Ice Cubes, top with Apple-Ginger Foam, which will give your cocktail a wonderful, creamy mouthfeel.

Absolut Haring Fizz FAQ
A “fizz” is a category or family of drinks. A fizz is essentially a sour cocktail – 2 parts spirit, 3/4 part citrus juice, and 1 part sugar – served in a tall glass and topped up with a soda water.
The Absolut Haring Artist-Edition was released in global travel retail on July 1, 2025, with broader distribution in over 40 countries beginning in October 2025. Three Absolut Haring signature drinks were created for the release, including the Absolut Haring Fizz.
Latin for ‘oil-sugar’, Oleo saccharum is a sweet, citrusy syrup made by macerating citrus peels in an excess of sugar to extract their essential oils. The process takes between 12 and 48 hours.. Oleo saccharum is used in beverages and deserts. In the Absolut Haring Fizz, it forms the base for the Orange & Lemon Sherbet.
