WARHOL’S MILK PUNCH DRINK RECIPE

Warhol’s Milk Punch is an indulgent and delectable cocktail that defies convention. Crafted in connection with the launch of the 2024 Absolut Warhol limited-edition bottle, it is a mix of daring flavors and artistic flair that is as unique as Andy Warhol himself.

Although it takes some preparation, Warhol’s Milk Punch is simple to serve once it’s ready. As Andy Warhol once said, “The idea of waiting for something makes it more exciting”. Cheers to that!

*Fat Washed Vodka
350 grams Cocoa Butter and 700ml Absolut Vodka

**Corn Flake Milk
500ml Milk and 50 grams Corn Flakes

How to make Warhol’s Milk Punch:

Day 1: Preparation


Make the Fat Washed Vodka and Corn Flake Milk.

Fat Washed Vodka:
350 grams Cocoa Butter
700ml Absolut Vodka

1. Melt the Cocoa Butter.
2. Pour the Vodka into a Mixing Bowl.
3. Add the melted Cocoa Butter into the Mixing Bowl.
4. Store the mix in a refrigerator overnight.

Cornflake Milk:
500ml Milk
50 grams Corn flakes

1. Add the Corn Flakes into a Bowl.
2. Add Milk
.
3. Store the mix in a refrigerator overnight.

Day 2: Mixing

1. Take the fat washed Vodka out of the refrigerator and filter it into a Mason Jar using a Coffee Filter.
2. Take the Corn flake Milk out of the refrigerator and strain it into a large Mixing Bowl using a conventional household Strainer. Tip! Press down on the mix with a Wooden Spoon to extract more liquid.
3. Mix the Banana Liqueur, Sugar Syrup and Lemon Juice into a large Mixing Bowl.
4. Mix the fat washed Vodka into the Bowl.
5. Mix in the Corn Flake Milk.
6. Refrigerate overnight. Note: You want the mixture to curdle – in other words, for the curds to separate from the whey – as this is part of the clarification process and essential for making a Milk Punch.

Day 3: Serving

1. Take the now curdled mix out of the refrigerator and strain the liquid through a Cheese Cloth and a Coffee Filter for a few hours.
2. Serve over a large Ice Cube in a Rocks Glass and garnish with a Banana Chip, and grated Chocolate.

Pour Warhol’s Milk Punch directly into a Rocks Glass or Old-Fashioned Glass filled with a large chunk of Ice.

To garnish Warhol’s Milk Punch, use an Edible Cocktail Topper. Or if you don’t have access to an edible food printer, use a Banana Chip and then grate some Chocolate over it. Delicious!
