Warhol’s Milk Punch is an indulgent and delectable cocktail that defies convention. Created in connection with the launch of the 2024 Absolut Warhol limited-edition bottle, it’s a mix of daring flavors and artistic flair that is as unique as Andy Warhol himself.

Although it takes some preparation, Warhol’s Milk Punch is simple to serve once it’s ready. As Andy Warhol once said, “The idea of waiting for something makes it more exciting.” Cheers to that!

How To Make warhol’s milk punch

Bar tools you’ll need

Bar Spoon

Citrus Elbow

Day One: Make the Cocoa Butter Fat Washed Vodka

350 grams Cocoa Butter
700ml Absolut Vodka

  • Melt the Cocoa Butter.

  • Pour the Vodka into a mixing bowl.

  • Add the melted Cocoa Butter into the mixing bowl.

  • Store the mixture in your refrigerator overnight.

Day One: Make the Cornflake Milk

500ml Milk
50 grams Cornflakes

  • Add the Cornflakes in a Bowl.

  • Add milk into the bowl.

  • Store the cornflake and milk mixture in a refrigerator overnight.

Day Two: Mixing the Cocoa Butter Fat Washed Vodka and Cornflake Milk

  • Take the Cocoa Butter Fat Washed Vodka out of the refrigerator and filter it through a Coffee Filter into a Mason Jar.

  • Take the Cornflake Milk out of the refrigerator and strain it into a large mixing bowl using a conventional household strainer.

Tip! Press down on the mix with a wooden spoon to extract more liquid.

  • Measure and pour Banana Liqueur, Sugar Syrup and Lemon Juice into a large mixing bowl.

  • Mix the Cocoa Butter Fat Washed Vodka into the mixing bowl.

  • Add the Cornflake Milk into the bowl.

  • Refrigerate the mixture overnight.

Note: You want the mixture to curdle – in other words, for the curds to separate from the whey – as this is part of the clarification process and essential for making a Milk Punch.

Day Three: Straining the mixture

  • Take the mixture out of the refrigerator then strain it through a large sieve or coffee filter.

Note: This process will take several hours.

Once you’ve successfully strained the liquid, you’re ready to make the cocktail!

How to mix

  • Take a Rocks Glass and place a large chunk of ice into the bottom of the glass.
  • Use a Jigger to measure and pour the cocktail directly into the glass.
  • Garnish by placing an edible cocktail topper directly into the glass. Alternatively, garnish with a dried banana chip and grate some chocolate into the glass.
