14 Fantastic Fall Cocktails
Written By Sander Sebton – 11/11/2024
Fall is here, and so is the onslaught of pumpkin-spiced everything. But before you reach for another latte, why not step up your seasonal sipping with something a little more refined? After all, there’s only so much fake enthusiasm you can muster for a pumpkin patch before slipping into a dark, cozy cocktail bar starts to sound more appealing.
In this collection you’ll find 14 of our favorite fall cocktails—think cinnamon, apple, autumn fruits and maybe a dash of pumpkin (we can’t escape it). Grab a glass and let’s toast to another season of sweater-weather!
Espresso Martini
It’s like drinking a cup of espresso but socially acceptable to have in your hand at 9 pm. Vodka and Kahlúa meet freshly brewed espresso in a cocktail for the ages. And yes, this one tastes fantastic with a bit of pumpkin spice sprinkled on top (sorry, not sorry).

Pumpkin Pie Martini
The Pumpkin Pie Martini is basically Pumpkin Pie in a glass, and it’s here to remind you that even your cocktails aren’t safe from seasonal trends.

Apple Pie Shot
Speaking of pies in liquid form, The Apple Pie Shot is perfect for when you want the taste of apple pie without the commitment of actually eating one. It’s sweet, cinnamon-y, and takes you right back to the days when your grandma’s apple pie didn’t have vodka in it.

Bramble
This gin-based cocktail is basically your moody, fall answer to all those sweet bubbly summer drinks you’ve been pretending not to like. Tart, sweet, and just complicated enough to make you feel fancy.
Hot tip: If you don’t like/have Gin at home, Vodka is the preferred substitute. Feeling experimental? Try making this one with Absolut Wild Berri!

Appletini
The Appletini is a sweet, tart and often neon-green cocktail perfect for 90’s throwback parties. This cocktail has apples in it so in the fall-cocktail collection it goes!
For that classic artificial neon look, you’ll want to go for AJ’s recipe. If you’re slinging drinks to a more discerning crowd, opt for Rico’s more “craft-y” version.
Manhattan
An old classic, much like the last sweater you dusted off from the back of your closet. It’s strong, smooth, and makes you feel like you’re in some film noir as you brood in a dimly lit bar.

Long Island Iced Tea
The drink equivalent of throwing everything you own into a suitcase before a weekend trip — chaotic but damn delicious.

Vodka Cranberry
It’s simple, tart, and basic enough to pair with literally any outfit. This is your “I don’t want to think about what I’m drinking” drink. Plus, cranberries are a fall fruit, so it’s on theme.

Frozen Mudslide
The Frozen Mudslide is for those moments when you want a drink and a milkshake at the same time but you can’t commit to either. Vodka, Kahlúa, and Cream united in sugary harmony. Perfect for those of you with a sweet-tooth.

Sit Down
Created by our very own Ricardo “Rico” Dynan, this is the perfect after-romantic-fall-walk cocktail. Heavy on flavor, even heavier on vibes. Honestly, one of my favorites among drinks created for Absolut Drinks With Rico

Negroni
Bitter, boozy, and orange. It’s basically fall foliage in a glass, but for people who pretend they have refined tastes. If you’re feeling sophisticated and slightly superior, the Negroni has your back.
Hot tip: Try substituting the Gin for Absolut Grapefruit if you wanna amp up those citrus notes.
Boulevardier
Negroni’s bourbon-loving cousin from Paris. It’s like the Negroni, but instead of gin, it’s got bourbon — perfect for when your drink needs to be just as moody as the weather outside or if you wanna one-up the person who got a Negroni. Make sure to try Rico’s Mandrin Boulevard if you want something a little less stiff and more citrus-forward.

Vodka Martini
It’s straightforward and no-nonsense, kind of like your approach to surviving Thanksgiving. It’s strong, minimal, and makes you feel like a Bond villain, which is always a plus when you’re wearing a turtleneck.

Warhol’s Milk Punch
Warhol’s Milk Punch was created by Rico for the release of our limited edition Absolut Warhol bottle. Based on Andy Warhol’s taste preferences, this cocktail uses advanced bartending techniques to mix cereal, chocolate, bananas and vodka into a crystal clear and impossibly smooth little sipper. We know it sounds a bit complicated and to be honest, it’s gonna require some patience to prepare. However, once it’s done you’ll have a big batch of cocktails that you can store in the fridge and just pull out whenever you wanna impress someone.

It’s not so much a question of “Could” rather than “Should”.
No. Or maybe – It’s your drink after all. If you think it tastes nice, go nuts.
Apples, Pears, Cranberries, Figs, Grapes, Blackberries, Plums and Pomegranates just to name a few. Ask your local green grocer or fruit vendor and they should be able to help you out!
