El motivo de que tenga un pie tan largo es que el cóctel debe mantenerse frío y evitar el calor de las manos. Hay distintos tamaños, pero es recomendable que tenga una capacidad de entre 170 y 200 mililitros. Es el tipo de copa más clásica y se utiliza para cócteles como el Absolut Cosmopolitan y el Vodka Martini.
