Fine Strainer
Jigger
Knife
Boston Shaker
Citrus Press
How to Mix
-
Cut a Lime in half, then use a citrus press (or citrus elbow) to juice your Lime Halves.
-
Use a jigger to measure and pour the freshly squeezed Lime Juice into a cocktail shaker.
-
Cut a Ruby Red Grapefruit in half. Save a Grapefruit Wedge for garnishing.
-
Before juicing the Grapefruit, rub a Grapefruit Half along the rim of a highball glass.
-
Pour Kosher Salt onto a plate, then dip the rim of your glass into the salt to coat it.
-
Use a citrus press (or citrus elbow) to now juice your Grapefruit Halves.
-
Use the jigger to measure and add freshly squeezed Grapefruit Juice into the shaker.
-
Measure and add Absolut Grapefruit.
-
Fill the shaker with ice cubes.
-
Shake hard until the outside of the shaker is visibly frosty and cold to touch.
-
Fill your glass with ice cubes.
-
Open the shaker and place a Hawthorne strainer over the opening and pour into the glass.
-
Top up with Soda Water.
-
Garnish by placing a Grapefruit Wedge directly into your glass.
