Martini Variations

Dating back to the nineteenth century, the Martini is no doubt a classic. However, it wasn’t until the 1960s that the Martini is the international symbol of class, sophistication and, well to put it bluntly, cool. With three little words, “Shaken, not stirred” the Martini became instantly associated with one of the suavest guys on the silver screen, James Bond. And while we wouldn’t dare argue with an international secret agent, we can’t help but point out that a cocktail purist wouldn’t shake their Martini, as that would upset the spirit and dilute the drink. You should always treat a vodka martini a little delicately.
