Yes but how much vodka?

Have you ever wondered why it’s so hard getting the drink the way you like it when you’re out traveling or tried to understand various recipes on the net?
All over the world drinking habits differ depending on the cultural history, legal regulations or price level in different countries.

If You order an ABSOLUT Vodka & Tonic in a bar in Sweden the bartender would ask You 3, 4 or 6 cl of ABSOLUT Vodka because that is the way we have served and priced cocktails and drinks here by tradition, counting the total amount of alcohol in the glass.

We used to have only 4 or 6 cl but in the late 1980s Sweden adopted the WHO mission to try to cut alcohol consumption by 25% that’s when the 4 cl Vodka Tonic was supposed to become the 3 cl Vodka Tonic but not a lot of bars adopted to the new requirements so the norm in Sweden is still 4 and 6 cl.

And as you know 1 oz is approximately 28 ml and 2,8 cl.
It is really big differences over the bar-world and this is of course the reason why all recepies from ABSOLUT are expressed in parts for them to work all over the world .
